central yavapai fire district phases I, II, III
LEA served as the Architect and Planner for the Central Yavapai Fire District Fire Services Campus in Prescott Valley Arizona. This Fire Training Facility is broken into several phases to accommodate growth and meet the financial requirements of the owner. Early in the process, LEA conducted a space and needs assessment working with the CYFD staff. The first three phases of the project are complete which includes the site infrastructure of roadways, underground utilities, training tower, 15,000 S.F. vehicle storage, classroom, administration building, dispatch communications building, warehouse, restroom and storage facility, and a class a burn structure that incorporates both confined space and collapsed ceiling training. LEA worked closely with the CYFD staff to ensure the new Communications Building will meet the operational requirements of this important essential use facility. Future Phases include a main administration buidling, outdoor classroom, driver training track, and dynamics Pad. The project features numerous sustainable design principles including solar photolvoltaics and future wind energy.
