Valley Forward Awards Gala – LEA Architects, contractor, and owner, win the 2011 Environmental Excellence Merit Award for the Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center (GRPSTC) 77 acre campus.

Arizona Masonry Guild Design Excellence Award

LEA wins Arizona Masonry Guild Design Excellence Award for Paradise Valley Fire Station No. 1. Paradise Valley Fire Station No. 1 has won numerous awards including a Valley Forward Design Excellence Award and was a featured presentation tour with the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Arts.

Valley Forward Design Award for Environmental Excellence

LEA wins Valley Forward Design Award for Environmental Excellence – Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center (GRPSTC) 77 acre campus. GRPSTC and the team will receive recognition at the annual VF Awards Gala 17 September.

National Brick in Architecture Jury Award – Gold Design Excellence

LEA wins The Gold Design Excellence Award in the “2011 Brick in Architecture Awards” National Design Competition for the new City of Tolleson Fire Station + Administration Building.

Coconino County Sustainable Building Program Annual Awards Ceremony

Coconino County Sustainable Building Program Annual Awards Ceremony, Flagstaff, AZ. Coconino County’s top Advanced Level Plus Sustainable Building Design Excellence Award 2010 is presented to LEA for the Grand Canyon National Park Airport Operations Building / Air Rescue Fire Fighting Facility and Highland Fire District Mountainaire Fire Station 23.

National Design Awards Competition

From Charlotte, NC in the National Design Awards competition: LEA – Architects won (3) three 2010 Design Excellence Awards from F.I.E.R.O. (Fire Industry Equipment Research Organization) , Fire Rescue Magazine, and the International Association of Fire Chiefs for the following projects:

  • Forest Highlands Fire Station No. 25, Flagstaff, Arizona – Honor Design Excellence Award

Valley Forward Crescordia

Scottsdale Fire Station No.2 (LEED Platinum) takes home the prestigious 2010 Valley Forward Crescordia in the Civic catagory for Valley Forwards 30th Anniversary Environmental Excellence Awards.

The Crescordia: Since Valley Forward’s introduction of the Environmental Excellence Awards program, the coveted Crescordia – a Greek term that means “To Grow in Harmony” – has been given as the highest honor in each category

First Fire Station in the United States to receive LEED Platinum Certification!

Scottsdale Fire Station No.2, the 1st Fire Station to receive LEED PLATINUM certification in the United States is to be a recipient of the 2010 Valley Forward Environmental Design Excellence Award that will be presented at the 30th annual VF Awards Gala in October. This represents the seventh time LEA has been recognized for environmental excellence by Valley Forward over the years.
